API Interface – BI Interface

Content: In this article, we explain what to do if you want to have third-party software communicate with the Vectron POS software via an API (Application Programming Interface) or via the myVectron BI interface. We distinguish between three user groups here.

 

Users of third-party software

I already use the Vectron POS software and would like to send data from the POS system to third-party software, such as ERP or reporting software.

Here you’ll find an overview of partners connected to the myVectron BI interface. All you need is the authorization key from the cloud, which you give to the provider. This key is available under “API Keys” in the myVectron customer portal after you’ve booked the “BI Interface” module.

If a connection to Vectron already exists, please check directly with the third-party provider to determine the type of connection (API, script, etc.). The third-party providers listed on our site are familiar with the connection process—if there is an existing API connection to the software, nothing else is required from Vectron besides the authorization key.

If there is no existing connection, the software provider can contact us to explore the possibility of establishing one. Once we have approved the connection, it can be set up, provided the myVectron BI Interface module is available.
