Content: This article describes the individual setting options of the Shift4 One terminal that are displayed within "Shift4 Customer Hub" under the "Shift4 One" section.
Basic information about the "Shift4 One" section
If a Shift4 One terminal is activated for a location, the "Shift4 One" section appears below the "Capital" section in the left navigation bar.
This section consists of the subcategories “Taxes” and “Settings.” The “Settings” section is where you manage the individual configuration options for the Shift4 One terminal. Configuration is done remotely. This means that the settings saved here in the “Shift4 Customer Hub” are transferred directly to the Shift4 One terminal and applied there. If multiple Shift4 One terminals are activated for the same location, the settings are transferred to all available Shift4 One terminals. Individual configuration is not possible via the Shift4 Customer Hub.
In the “Taxes” section, tax information can be stored that will be noted on payment slips. While this feature is technically possible, it is generally irrelevant in practice and is therefore not recommended and will not be described further here.
All tax-relevant information must be shown on the actual invoice or receipt.
