What is "Shift4 Customer Hub"?
"Shift4 Customer Hub" is a web-based merchant portal for viewing and managing card payment transactions. It provides access to detailed transaction overviews, daily payment data, as well as monthly statements including fees and payouts. Additionally, the portal supports the creation of individual reports for one or more businesses within a VECTRON SMART or DURATEC SMART contract.

The following definitions explain key terms used in this and other articles about the features of "Shift4 Customer Hub":
Transactions
Transactions refer to individual card payment processes that are processed through the payment system. This includes approved, declined, completed, and pending payments. Transactions are displayed in the transaction overview both in real-time and historically.Transaction overview
The transaction overview shows a detailed list of all transactions within a selected time period. It contains information such as date and time, amount, payment method, status, card and customer details, as well as other processing-relevant details.Statements
Statements summarize the processed transactions of a defined billing period, usually monthly. They contain information about sales and fees.Payout
The payout refers to the amount paid out to the merchant after deducting all applicable fees and any withheld reserves.Reports
Reports are individually configurable analyses based on transaction and statement data. They can be filtered, saved, subscribed to, and exported according to various criteria.
Structure and navigation
After successfully logging in to "Shift4 Customer Hub", the homepage is displayed. By default, this is the "Dashboard", which is also the first entry in the left navigation.
If the left navigation is not visible, it can be shown or hidden using the hamburger menu at the top left.
By clicking on the individual sections in the left navigation, the respective content is displayed in the central area of the portal.
If multiple sites are assigned to an account, the desired site can also be selected via the left navigation. By clicking on the displayed site name, a selection menu opens where the corresponding site can be chosen. For an account assigned to only one business, this selection option is omitted.
You can log out of the portal either via "Sign Out" in the left navigation or at the top right via the "person icon" and the menu item "Sign Out".
